Japanese Learners Opinions toward Employment e case study of Business Japanese Program Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology : The purpose of this study is to investigate the employment consciousness of Japanese Language learning student in Thailand and to clarify how the students think about employment. Participants of this study were Business Administration Students in Thai-Nichi Institute Technology (TNI) who are taking Japanese Language courses. The contents of questionnaire are a total of 58 questions in 6 parts including Japanese language learning values of employment values of work factors of career choice and career anchor. The data was collected from 391 students. The results indicated that students mainly started learning Japanese when they were in high school and started to have goals for their profession at the same time. The feelings of getting a job tended to be positive and about half of the students wished to find a job at a Japanese company. In the work values there was a tendency to emphasize life stability. In the career choice factors reward was the highest mean value and among them there was a tendency to emphasize welfare and insurance rather than salary. In the career anchors stable was the highest mean value. From the results of this research, it was found that the experience of learning Japanese strengthens expectations for rewards and students have less commitment to work, but tend to demand a stable employment.
